Mana Ink is a tattoo studio based in Mount Isa, created by two friends who grew up together, went to school together, and always shared a deep love for art.What started as sketching in schoolbooks turned into a lifelong passion for creating meaningful, long-lasting work. At Mana Ink, we focus on clean lines, bold designs, and tattoos that hold mana — strength, identity, and story.Whether you’re chasing something small or a full custom piece, we’re here to bring your ideas to life with care, creativity, and pride.
Aftercare
Taking care of your new tattoo is important to make sure it heals clean and stays looking sharp. Follow these simple steps:1. First DayWash your hands before touching the tattoo.Gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap.Pat dry with a clean paper towel — don’t rub.2. Days 1–7Wash the tattoo 2–3 times a day.After washing, apply a thin layer of fragrance-free moisturiser or tattoo balm.Keep it lightly moisturised — not shiny or smothered.Some redness, tightness, and light scabbing is normal.3. Days 7–14Your tattoo will flake and peel — don’t scratch or pick it.Continue moisturising daily.Avoid heavy sweating, swimming, or soaking.4. AvoidDirect sunSaunas, spas, pools, or bathsDirty environmentsShaving the area until healedScented lotions or anything with alcoholHealingMost tattoos heal in 3–4 weeks, with full settling around 4–6 weeks.
